Amalgamated Security Services (Guyana) Inc. proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of the Guyana Police Force during a special Regional Recognition Awards Ceremony held on 18 June 2026 at the AC Hotel, Georgetown. The event recognized six Guyanese law enforcement officers who distinguished themselves at the Amalgamated Security Services (ASSL) Regional Recognition AwardsProgramme for Public Law Enforcement for 2025 and 2026, an initiative conducted in partnership with the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP).
Among the day’s highlights was Dr. Nicola Kendall, who secured the Top Caribbean Career Move Award for 2025, earning regional recognition for her exceptional professional accomplishments and receiving the programme’s top prize. Other distinguished awardees included David Prince, Kizzy Lawrence, Sonia Herbert, Fiona Fredricks, and Leslyn Smith, whose achievements in crime fighting, community policing, and professional development exemplify the high standards of the Guyana Police Force.
As part of the ceremony, Amalgamated Security Services also reinforced its commitment to public safety through its Saving Lives Initiative, donating 100 trauma kits and one forensic investigation kit to the Guyana Police Force to enhance emergency response and investigative capabilities.
